Circular Time is a calendar app that abstracts appointments and time periods in coloured waves. The app investigates conceptually and experimentally whether the representation of certain appointments in waves creates a new language of form and intuitive form reading. If there is a recurring wave shape that symbolises a certain appointment, the user can intuitively read this from the shape and colour of the appointment.
The circle stands for the respective time period such as day, week and month. The waves can have different colours, so that each type of appointment can be assigned to a certain colour category. The size of the wave determines how important the appointment is.
