CUTISXFUNGIXCORPUS is a conceptual work that designs a posthumanist and postcapitalist utopia. In this utopia, humans connect to other life forms in order to learn new ways of living and surviving from them. They thus become symbionts. They use their bodies as measuring instruments, the skin being the organ of fusion.
The work CUTISXFUNGIXCORPUS exemplifies the fusion with the living being fungus, the destruent, the recycler of dead organic material. The mycelium, the queer network. The impressions, ideas, observations of the fusion, the docking with this way of life, are recorded in a magazine.

PODcast/INTRODUCTION

"We look deep into the gaping chasm of our perceptual reality. There remains only the imagined utopia of a fusion, of a tender embrace with the other.
Ways of life and survival.
In the darkness the symbiont enters the ray of hope of mankind. He cradles
in the glistening, warming spotlight of togetherness.
The stage of the world.
The symbiont relies on the direct, unobstructed and concentrated
view of the other. His bodies melt.
Becomes the one and the multitude at the same time.
It measures and sees itself enriched by the Other.
Senses of perception are now measuring instruments.
And so scientific accuracy blurs with subjectivity of the perceiver.
Body and fiction flow into each other and form a stream of of movement.

The story takes its way to the climax and the main actors, knowing that the curtain begins to divide, take up their positions.
Arranged in a triangle are skin, mushroom and body.

Cutis, the surface that surrounds the once One. The organ of fusion.
Fungi, the decomposing. the other. The destruent.
Corpus, the body, multiplicity, consisting of subjectivity, perception
and words. "
